David and Sally Goudy founded Moira Pentecostal Church in 1979, their daughter Claire now serves as a missionary in the Philippines. Pastor David Goudy is well known for his teaching ministry, communicating the truths of Scripture in a practical, powerful way.

His down to earth, honest style bring forth the hidden truths of the Word of God in a way that encourages people to be grounded, steadfast and sure of God's intent and purpose for individuals and the wider church.

 

 

Clifford and Evelyn Bloomfield have been a part of the local church in Moira since 1980, Clifford is the Assistant Pastor and worship leader, he is involved in the weekly worship ministry and community outreach projects. He is also involved in coordinating various church events.

Evelyn oversees the childrens ministry and serves as a Sunday School teacher, her hard work and patience has a great impact on young lives. The church has seen many of these young people grow up to do great things for God within the church and further afield as missionaries.

 

 

Ken and Feniah Rollins are faithful leaders at MPC, Ken is a prayer intercessor, and leads one of our Home Groups with his wife. He is one of the trustees for the church and also serves on the welcome team.

Feniah is a part of the weekly worship ministry, a singer and prophetic voice to the church. Their daughter Hannah is involved in the worship ministry and also oversees the cafe within the church.

 

 

 

Raymond and Joyce McPherson play a vital part in church life. Raymond is a trustee for the church and faithful prayer partner. He also serves on the welcome team within the church.

Joyce is a prayer intercessor and runs a charity shop supporting the work of one of our missions, Helping Hands Ministries in the Philippines. Compassion charity shop not only financially supports mission, but is a constant witness to people outside of the church, many have made a decision for Christ through this work.

 

 

Tony and Grace Chee head up the music ministry in MPC, they bring their musical skills to the worship team, equipping the church to praise the Lord with wonderful sound. Tony is a regular Bible teacher, his knowledge of the Scripture and practical preaching style make the Word of God come alive to the listeners.

Grace also assists in the production of drama and pantomime here at MPC and often uses her musical abilities to add depth to the performances.

 

 

 

Martin and Kathy Newell contribute to church life in a variety of ways, Martin is a youth leader and often preaches in church. His messages from the Word of God inspire and challenge, as he shares a word in season with what God is doing amongst us.

Kathy coordinates many church projects, from outreach events to mission trips, concerts and drama productions. She is also involved in the worship team.
