Ukraine

Our first contact with "Well of Living Waters" Church in the Ukraine came via email from Pastor Alexander Ilash.  We corresponded for eighteen months before finally making our first visit to Izmail in June 2001.  Since our second visit in June 2002 Pastor Alexander and his wife Nadija have been to N.Ireland.  They came in October 2002 to minister here. Then in 2003 a team of nineteen people from our church went to visit them. The whole mission trip went superbly, everyone in the team worked together to bless and encourage the people at W.L.W.  The team were also greatly blessed from the trip, relationships were built and friendships were made.

In 2004 Pastor David and Asst.Pastor Clifford went out again to continue building relationships with the church and leaders. In 2005 A team of 20 went out and ministered with the church, reaching out to the local community with dance, drama and creative arts. People made decisions for Christ and the many were encouraged in their faith in Christ.

The latest missions trip to Well of Living Waters church was in 2006, a large team of over 20 people went along. An outdoor concert had been arranged by the WLW prior to our visit. Our church worked for months before to put together a dance/drama team and a worship band. They then joined the Ukraine church team and together shared the message of the Gospel to the people of Izmail. They had many great times of fellowship, teaching, prayer and encouragement over the 5 days, and look forward to great things in the future.
